A soft polishing cloth may be used to restore the shine.

Storage

Avoid leather boxes. It is best to use the original packaging or a small airtight plastic bag.

natural gemstones

Is your jewellery set with one or more gemstones?

Gemstones have different degrees of hardness and should be handled with care despite their hardness and suitability for jewellery. They can crack or split by falling on stone floors, even diamonds. Please avoid hard knocks and take them off e.g. when gardening.

Cleaning

Use warm mild soapy water and a very soft brush, e.g. a soft toothbrush. After cleaning, dry the jewellery with a soft cloth or microfiber cloth.

Do not use chemical agents or strong soaps for gemstones!

Storage

It is best to use the original packaging or a small airtight plastic case. Always store jewelry with gemstones separately in different cases or bags, e.g. when traveling.

vermeil gold

Put on your jewellery after you have already applied makeup, creams, perfume or hairspray. Take off your jewellery

- before going to bed,
- before taking a shower, bath, going into the water, washing your hands or

Sweat and cosmetics accelerate the abrasion of even the thickest layer of gold.

Vermeil Gold remains a high quality coating that will wear off after a few years depending on how you wear it. It is like a villa that may be repainted at some point due to the weather. Re-plating gold is not a problem. Feel free to contact us anytime about this service.
